ContributorNetwork – Yesterday President Obama reversed its decision to approve a measure establishing a Christmas tree tax. Conservative law makers rallied in opposition to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) request to add a 15 cent per tree tax to fund an industry promotional campaign to encourage the purchase of live trees. Obama administration spokesman Matt Lehrich stated during a press conference yesterday that the mandatory fee was not a tax and the USDA is willing to delay the program.
